The King's Head, Ravenstonedale, is everything a good pub should be: warm, friendly and welcoming both to the local community and to visitors alike. The King's Head is a place to relax and unwind over a drink or to enjoy a meal, freshly prepared from locally sourced produce. There is much to enjoy nearby including the upper Eden Valley, the Howgill Fells and beautiful rolling Cumbrian countryside.
Our 6 en–suite bedrooms offer an ideal base for an overnight stay or an extended break. All our rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and flat screen TV. Our aim is to ensure our guests enjoy their stay with excellent food and drink, comfortable accommodation and friendly hospitality. We describe all our rooms in detail on our website so that our guests know exactly what to expect from their accommodation.
The King's Head is situated between the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is therefore an ideal base from which to visit both. The North York Moors National Park is a longer but scenic drive away as is County Durham, the land of the prince bishops. The King's Head is easy to reach, being just 8 miles from the M6 (J38) and 4 miles from the nearby market town of Kirkby Stephen.
We serve food every day from 12pm-9pm. Please refer to our various menus to see when they are served. We also offer a choice of real ales and an extensive selection of fine wines.
The King's Head has 6 en-suite bedrooms (4 double, 2 twin). All rooms are equipped with shower and bath, tea and coffee making facilities, plasma TV and free WiFi.
Our prices are per room inclusive of breakfast (single or double occupancy). We do not impose a minimum stay. Pets are welcome in the bar but are not allowed in the bedrooms.

The King's Head was completely rebuilt between August 2010 and July 2011 after being closed for nearly 3 years. Our new hotel, managed by a brand new team, has been a resounding success.
